But with so much happening on the screen, it can be a little difficult to get time to think.

There's some real strategy involved, especially later in the game, when your best option is to bait the guards into shooting into each other by teleporting at the last minute. Bouncing around rooms and through walls is a fun twist on an old formula and a necessity for staying alive. Shifty lacks in substance, it more than makes up for in style. In longer doses, though, the game's repetition can start to wear. Once you can accept that, what you're left with is an arcade beat-'em-up that's insanely addictive, at least in small chunks. Instead, you just have to accept that your goal is to beat things up and not get shot. Eventually, you pick up bits and pieces of how you got there and what you're doing, but honestly, if you're expecting any sort of character-driven plot or deep narrative, you won't find it here. You're sort of just tossed right into the chaos, working your way through a few basic tutorials. At least you can teleport, right? Try not to overthink the plot here, because the writers certainly didn't.

Your job is to sneak into a highly secured building filled with armed guards and lethal traps, and you don't use guns but you're expected to get out alive. Terrible, terrible game. This nonstop action heist caper is lots of fun, so long as you're not bothered by repetitive action and challenging gameplay. In the end, you'll have just as much value for the money spent. You may be hurting for games to play on the Switch, but skip this game, unless you enjoy just wasting money, even then I would just take the money outside and throw it into the wind instead of spending it on this. Whichever one of the developers thought it would be awesome to put so few weapons in the game and doesn't allow the player to use the guns strewn about everywhere, stop making games. The final level is even worse than the rest of the game because instead of going through a door and getting a checkpoint, the door dissolves and you are forced to do an entire two room area over and over again as the entire building shifts around you. You have to redo entire rooms WHEN you die, and you will die a lot because of how cheap this game is. The checkpoint system is a complete joke. The game throws tons of enemies at you and demands that you kill them all to move on. If you like action arcade-like games, this one it´s a good option. It also has a nice HD rumble if you play with the Joy-cons. The game has its faults, a few locations (always inside of an office like building it´s a bit monotonous), repetitive music and longer a campaign would be appreciated, but for the price, I really enjoyed the game. The many deaths are easy to forget because you respawn almost immediately, and from the last room you were so you don´t need to repeat longer sections before trying again, much appreciated since you will die a lot, but once you finally overcome the room you'll feel like a total bad ass. First basic enemies, then lasers, missiles, grenades, mines, anti-shifting fields and more things I won´t spoil. The game delivers a burst of non-stop action after each other, Once you grasp the mechanics of the game, the game start adding new challenges after each level. And it´s like that, I was intrigued by the concept of this game, it looked a lot like the "nightcrawler white house infiltration" in X-Men 2.
